Official presentation of project „European literary marathon” and the program of

the IX National Children’s Book Festival (May 8-11) in front of the national media

A special press-conference was organized for journalists of the central media on May 2, 2007 in the press-club of the Bulgarian telegraphic agency –Sofia. The project „European literary marathon” and the implementation of the marathon in Sliven on May 9 were presented on that conference. The program of the IX National Children’s Book Festival (May 8-11, 2007) was presented too. Mrs. Rositsa Petrova-Vasileva - a coordinator of the project for Bulgaria and a main organizer of the National Children’s Book Festival, Mr. Igor Chipev – a director of “Book and library matters” department in the Ministry of culture – a partner in the organization of the marathon and the festival and Maria Gareva (Agency of Bulgarians abroad) took part in the conference. Representatives of the Bulgarian Telegraphic Agency, Bulgarian National Radio, national televisions and radios, electronic media, newspapers and magazines attended the conference. The journalists were informed about the address of the web-site on which they may watch the Marathon in real time. Sets of advertising material were given to the journalists at the end of the press-conference.
